Okay, here's the deal- My sister's boyfriend is on Parole in Georgia. He traveled (without permission) to Alabama and sure enough, got 2 tickets, speeding AND driving without a license.

He HAS to go to court for the license ticket (can't pay it online) and show proof of a license (which he intends to get before court date).

My question is, will they bust him for traveling out of state without permission when he goes to court? AKA, will they (Alabama court) even know that he is on Probation?

They didn't arrest him when he was pulled over, however, I worry that when he goes to court, they will have found out that he is on probation in Georgia and nail him when he is in front of the judge.

Any opinions?? Please, ANYONE!!

1. there is a 5050 chance that they will already know -

2.they had to have ran his name through their local data base , which I call the hot wire meaning if GA. sent his info to ALA. then maybe he will get caught

3.if GA went national most def

4. and too it depends on the Judge and what it is he's on probation for Ala's Judge may not feel like dealing with all the paper work so then he's good to go

5. his best bet is to start looking for a job if he doesn't already have one

6. chances are he won't be arrested
7. STAY HIS SO AND SO IN STATE NEXT TIME AND DEF. STAY FROM BEHIND THE WHEEL WITH OUT A LICENSE.
GOOD LUCK

Oh yeah.. hes toast.. they dont even need to take him to court.. hes violated parole.. Say bye bye... and buy him a card from Hallmark... and they will do a background check.. its routine in the court records..

Likely after the court gets done with the traffick ticket they will just have the baliff escort him to jail.. old trick.. cheaper than sending some cop out to find him and way more funny...
Lemme know what happens (My email is open) I will be really suprised if they dont nail his *** to the wall in court.. this is an old trick.. almost as old as Moses LOL

You tell me.. 3 parole violations? what you think they are going to do?? (if yer under parole.. you cannot violate any law in any state.. 1 outta state.. 2 & 3 traffic violations.. sheesh what a moron... PO violations take nothing and no court even..

BTW yer sister isnt the sharpest knife in the drawer either is she? (Hey 'm not saying i'm totally innocent in life.. hardly (way hardly).. but at least i was intelligent enough to never have to do prison time.. just a few days of jail here and there is all i can claim)

It all depends on the state of Alabama. If they report to Georgia it may eventually trickle down to Georgia Parole. Then again, it may not. In Georgia, when we stop someone, and run their license, it tells us if the person in on active Parole. If they are, we don't necessarily notify the parole office unless the dispatcher tells us there is a note on the readout asking us to do so. So, it all depends on several factors.

i think of you would be fined and then possibly might desire to pass to a pair classification. i do no longer understand what share factors you get taken away for double the fee shrink. i do no longer think of you would be banned except you unfastened all your license factors and you have previous convictions. regardless of the undeniable fact that assume it to be very costly. for occasion in some places is $50 for rushing and $5 for for each extra beneficial mile over the fee shrink. It varies from state to state. So, i'm guessing 5*40 = 2 hundred + 50 s a minimum of $250 definitely. possibly extra. Plus your coverage might pass up. The choose might provide you some leniency. It relies upon on the judges temper. that's that if his spouse hasn't been putting out assume a hefty advantageous. I doubt that he assist you to pass unpunished yet you are able to ask for a alleviation. that's say which you're inexperience and which you the place no longer doing it on purpose and which you realize which you will possibly be able to desire to pay for rushing yet while he must be lenient on the quantity. Ir won't artwork yet is properly worth a attempt.

maybe not, they do not run criminal record checks on tickets for court,

Now here is the catch, the tickets will show up on his driving record, so when his PO runs his records every so often ( and they do) it will show up.

So not only will he be in trouble for being out of state, he will also have failed to report the tickets and the court appearance. So he will be in alot more trouble in about 6 months. The travel out of state would most likely just get him a talking to, now he has to travel out of state again and go to court.

he needs to fess up to the PO and tell him about it, get permission to go to court. If not he is in a world of hurt in abuot 6 months
