Hi. I bought rechargeable batteries with a charger for my digital camera. Is it recommended to change the batteries and buy new ones at some point? (Hope this isn't a dumb question.)

Recargable batteries will eventually wear out so when they stop providing enouph power or if they were to start to leak then you can replace them but you don't need to change them on a regular schedule.

What they normally put in are called, demonstration batteries. So people can try out the cameras in the store. In order for your camera to operate at top performance, they recommend you change the batteries after you buy it.
