I'm not Dr Frank but if you are considering taking an ssri, seroxat (paroxetine) is probably the last one i'd consider as it has the worst side effect profile and worst withdrawal effects. I'd be muchmore inclined to take citalopram or fluoxetine which will work just as well but have far less adverse effects or withdrawal problems.

Don't take Seroxat-i've been on it for years and it hasn't done anything impressive for me,the side-effects totally outweigh any benefits. If I miss taking one tablet I really suffer for it-nausea,the shakes,really terrible night terrors,irritability,aggression,and now I can't get off them. This drug is the one that all the fuss has been about in America-people flipping out etc...when they've tried stopping taking it.There is a whole website telling of similar stories.
