My bf told me this the other day. I think he said by mistake not realizing he did or so I think. I never asked about it cause I was suprised by what he said cause I had never seen him cry. He is a strong person and he is not emotionally expressive. But yes he is a great guy. My question what really makes a man cry?

My hubby cries at many things, but it did take a long time for him to feel comfortable doing it in front of me. He isn't a big crier when someone dies, he has his own philosophy of death. There are movies that can touch him. If we are having a lot of fights and our relationship gets too shaky, he can cry at a fight when he's worn out. He cried when he saw the ultrasound of our first baby and when she was born.
Mostly, he cries when he's overwhelmed with issues between us. I know he loves me deeply and it hurts him when we fight.
I admit he doesn't cry as much or as easily as I do but when he does it breaks my heart, kinda like when I saw my father cry, not very often but very intense indeed

The same things that make women cry. Just being a man doesnt mean they never cry. Its healthly and normal.

I really don't understand what you are saying. But i think that making a person cry is not good. I don't think that you should always want to see him Happy and with his chin up.
