They preach that anything that that is not of their organization is `Of The World` and therefore is of Satans world. Why then would their main spokesman have over 37,000, points on here. Does he like the site, but doesn`t want to tell his brothers or sisters.

You naughty person! You're just jealous! And you don't understand JW tactics. They gang up to answer certain "cleared" questions, with a JW Moderator stepping in when necessary, and if that Moderator deigns to impart his wisdom by answering, all lesser JWs rally round if the question goes to voting, and give him their votes. (It's definitely a him and not a her because of their "headship" views.) You have to admire their organisation (as opposed to their Organisation).

I suspect the real reason there are over 150 JWs engaged in Yahoo is that it's a great way to "count their time" - they can report hours spent answering questions on-line on their monthly report forms. This enables them to meet their monthly quotas for time proselytising (10 hours for "publishers", 75 for "pioneers" and so on). It's got to beat cold-calling door-knocking any day! You can bet their leaders don't like Yahoo one whit, but they'd be silly to name and shame it because forbidden fruit is always sweeter!

This so-called "question" misrepresents what the bible actually says about this matter, and what Jehovah's Witnesses actually believe.

(1 John 2:16) Everything in the world - the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life - does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world.

The Scripture plainly does NOT teach that "everything in the world" originates from Satan. Instead, Christians are simply reminded that "everything in the world" does NOT originate with God or have the approval of God and Christ.

Jehovah's Witness Christians do not believe that Satan the Devil purposely initiates each and every thing that is "in the world", but Witnesses do cautiously recognize that they cannot know precisely which things Satan does particularly initiate.

(1 John 5:19) The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one

(1 Peter 5:8) Keep your senses, be watchful. Your adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour someone.

(2 Corinthians 2:11) That we may not be overreached by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his designs.

(Ephesians 6:11) Stand firm against the machinations of the Devil

Yahoo Answers, like television and theater, are no substitute for good association within the Christian congregation.

"Do not be loving either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever." - 1 John 2:15-17

“They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world.”—John 17:16

When we say that we shouldn't be a part of this world it means that we shouldn't do the things that the world does (like fornication, talking dirty, immorality, adopting false doctrines, getting involved in politics, going to war etc).
But when people disrespect us and our Father Jehovah we have the right to defend ourselves and Him. Also, there are people who want to know more about us and they're posting answers. Why shouldn't we respond? What's wrong in us surfing on Y!A?
Compare our answers with other. You will see that they are not disrespectful and that they don't contain obscene words.

We don't have a leader or a spokesman.

This one is for Sasi. You wrote: " I suspect the real reason there are over 150 JWs engaged in Yahoo is that it's a great way to "count their time" - they can report hours spent answering questions on-line on their monthly report forms. This enables them to meet their monthly quotas for time proselytising (10 hours for "publishers", 75 for "pioneers" and so on). First of all, we don't have a quota. Secondly, not all Witnesses have the ability to walk and go door to door. We have many who are in poor health or/are confined at home taking care of their families. How then can they go preach? out of love for God and others, they find ways. They do phone witnessing, writing letters, and sure, Y! Q&A. If there are sincere people out there who are searching for the truth, i do not see the harm in that. If 15 or 30 minutes is all they can do, well, so be it. Again, no quotas. You do what you can do with all your heart and strenght! However for those who does have the ability to go door to door, that is still our priority.

you really want to get your facts straight before you make sweeping statements like that that is not what they teach at all.they take the bible as gospel and live according to it.This does not stop them using modern technology but they also make sure of their statements before they make them which is probably why you will very rarely find a jw in a fight.

They are a bunch of whackos anyway. Brainwashed to believe that they are the only ones saved. Who cares what they think. Everything to them is evil.
