Isn't it possible that guys who have to have a lot of different women around have low self-esteem. It's like they need constant attention, constant admiration, & constant gratification because they aren't happy with themselves. Why do they chose to take advantage of other people as oppose to just taking better care of themselves and learning to love themselves?
Players have blind confidence they really don't love themselves much...do they?

Its not the question of low self esteem. Its human nature. Every one wants constant attention and attraction. Your dressing up your taking care of yourself are the basic tools you use to get this attention and attraction. Loving yourself is a abnormal condition called NARCISSISM

I'd say its' more of a case of the women having a low self esteem. Women piss and moan about guys like this and crap on the nice guys that are in there lives.

You are right. My guy best friend is like that. He feels the need to always have a gf or female friends close to him so he can get attention. He's slowly getting over it but it is low confidence in themselves.A lot of guys do that.

I think you have a valid point because you find that the guys who have all of these women often times get jealous too, if another guy looks at their girl or even if they are talking to another guy, simply by saying hello. i know, it sucks to be a guy at times because the so called players are making it hard for the gentlemen of the world

I think you are on to something there. Taking advantage of other people doesn't make you feel good about yourself so the behavior makes things even worse. The most 'amusing' part is how these people are so good at convincing themselves and others that they are happy. Once you've encountered a few of them they are generally pretty easy to spot, and avoid.

I don't think that. I just think the more woman the better. I would like to have a harem of ladies and i think any man would. I wouldn't go so deep into it like that. Also like the other guy said if you get a couple woman then more just keep coming due to shallow minded woman who like competition

Nah. Don't overanalyze it. Players just like to have sex with someone until they can find the right one.
Guys who have to have more than one are the same. The right one comes along that satisfies them in every way they're all over it.
