I've got these little purple lines on my legs and they've been there for around two monthes now. they aren't going away and looks like they've gotten bigger! What could they be? Stretch marks? I haven't had any weight gain so why would I get those? They don't look like veins either.

What are those and is anyone else having this problem? They are not really noticeable since they are really thin.

I'm only 16. I don't think I should be getting any of those. ;_; Haven't had any weight changes either.

they could be stretch marks.. some people have purplish stretch marks that fade into a lighter color as they get older. if they are on the surface of the skin. if below the skin.. veins some can be so tiny like capillaries and still show thru. Large lines even faint could be veins... no harm in getting them checked out though.

They sound like broken capillaries. There is nothing you can do to get rid of them. I got them when I was 14 but didn't get to many more. I still have them. If you are wearing a girdle or tight support type panties stop wearing them. They are too tight and are putting pressure on your veins in your legs. Next time you see your Doctor ask him what they are to be sure.

After 10 years of struggling with all sorts of creams and pills to treat this embarrassing problem I was able to get rid of my varicose veins by using natural healing methods and alternative herbal home remedies.

Read Diane Thompson's "Varicose Veins Secrets" (also available in electronic format at: http://www.varicoseveinscure.org ). By following this guide book I was able to eradicate my varicose veins pretty fast. God bless!

Thin and purple are spider vains, or Varicose veins. You can get them removed, they do it in a number of treatments, but its very painful(unless they've found a newer way recently) and expensive. Talk to your doctor!!!!

Since they are thin they could just be broken vains. Do you stand alot , or walk on concrete floors often. That sometimes will cause broken vains. If thats what it is, it's really nothing to worry about . Wearing panty hose for support will sometimes help with , it not getting any worse. Hope this helps.

Sounds like spider veins. They can be removed with laser by a dermatologist but I don't think insurance will cover it as it would be deemed cosmetic.
