Papaya Creamsicle Smoothie

The papaya in this velvety drink provides vitamin C and natural fruit sugar for energy.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients
2 ripe papayas
1/2 cup (120mL) orange juice
1/2 cup (120g) vanilla frozen yogurt

Directions
Peel, seed and coarsely chop papayas.
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

Strawberry Smoothie

Prep time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:

2 ice cubes
1 c. milk
1/3 c. cottage cheese
2/3 c. frozen strawberries
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:

Pour all of the ingredients into a blender.
Put the lid on the blender and blend for 45 to 60 seconds until smooth.
Pour your smoothie into a glass and enjoy.
Serves: 1

Serving size: 1 large glass

High Energy Papaya Drink

1 cup diced papaya (very soft on outside)
1/2 banana (optional)
1 tablespoon brewer’s yeast powder
1 teaspoon honey

Blend all together.

Banana Nut Smoothie

Ingredients

1 banana, frozen
1 cup Dannon® All Natural Vanilla Lowfat Yogurt
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. honey (optional)
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions

1. Cut the frozen banana into 3 or 4 chunks and peel. Place in blender with Dannon® All Natural Vanilla Lowfat Yogurt, walnuts, cinnamon and honey (optional).
2. Blend on high for 2 minutes or until smooth. Pour into glass and top with a dusting of ground nutmeg.

Yield: 1 serving

3/4 cup soy milk

1/2 cup soft silken tofu

4 fresh bananas, frozen and sliced

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon carob powder

Method:

Combine soy milk and tofu in blender. Add the bananas, honey, vanilla extract, and carob powder. Blend until smooth.

honey and oj--it's the fastest --u do not hav to digest this--the honey is absorbed straight through the walls of ur stomach
