I'm used to applying my fave body lotion & body oil especially after shower & if i'm going out but my beau doesn't like it.
I tried to explain to him that it's important for my skin (girl's stuff). It's an issue to us once in a while & he made it sound like I'm a vain or something. That's why when we were travelling and island hopping together last year. I tried to apply them hurrily while he's not looking at me yet but everytime he smell and notice me using those girly stuffs he will just tease me again.
So Is it really making me a li'l vain & to those girls or even some of the guys who also like to use those stuffs?

I do not have a problem with it at all.The More feminine you are the more you become sexy and delicious.
It seems like my Wife takes dam near 2 hours to wash before she go any where or when she is preparing herself for me.
It irritate me sometimes but when she is finished washing and ready to go, she looks very clean and fresh and 10 years younger than her age.

It's definately neccessary for you to use lotion. No matter what you say to them, I don't think guys will ever understand that. But your lotion smells? That's probably where the problem comes from. I would suggest either buying a lotion that doesn't smell or either going "lotion-shopping" with him so that you can pick out something he won't complain about. It's possible that he won't want to come lotion shopping, so then you can tell him that you tried, and if he won't come with you, you aren't changing lotions. Or he might decide to come with you and then when he decides that he does or doesn't like it, you can say, "well you helped pick it out". Chances are, he probably has no wish to come shopping for lotion with you so he'll drop it. If it's his girl having a smooth body that he doesn't like, then I have no solution. But if it's a smell, I'd say take him shopping or use a scentless lotion and a seperate perfume that he and you like.
I hope that makes sense, but you aren't being vain! You're being a girl...girls need lotion, he's just gonna hafta accept that.

okay this is really going to sound weird but i totally agree with you. yes i'm a guy and everyday i apply body lotion but the thing is (and this is why everybody makes fun of me) i get my creams from bath and body works. plus i have several different scents. so you aren't being vain you just want to take care of yourself.

Vain??? I use body lotion everyday or my skin gets to dry.
I think this guy has bigger issues than you may be aware of. Sounds like some kind of control freak, and he teases you also about this.
I'd tell him to get lost!

it sounds like you may be a bit vain, but that's your perrogative. if you like doing it, then keep on and tell him to mind his own business. but don't use lotion and stuff too much, it'll make your skin feel like a slimy toad after too long.

No, it's not making you vain, it's about you taking care of yourself.
he should be happy that you take care of your self because some girls don't, they let their self's go.

baby oil makes ur skin softer! i use it and get compliments on how soft my skin is. use that after the shower....then later use the reg. lotion for scent. ;)

Well, personally I don't use those stuff, I only use colognes or body sprays which keep me stay fresh all day.
