The traditional family will continue to decline, and step families will increase. Then pressure from organisations like Fathers for Justice, religious groups etc. will cause government and society to realise that something is terribly wrong, and want to embrace traditional family values once again. That won't be until at least five decades have passed.

I came from the traditional family two parents 3 brothers and 1 sister dad worked and we all did things together, On getting married to my husband we now have our own version of a traditional family two kids own home,car,two holidays we both work but I'm always there when the kids come home from school and we always do stuff together the traditional family is what ever the people make of it.

They will go on as they have always done. Some minor differences i.e. Gay couples. more second or third marriages but the system will continue to work
