I do think she said it was with little beads of glue that she would put them on. She said that she puts them on tightly. So if I do put them in am I in danger of getting bald spots? I so want full long hair again but I started loosing it about 5 years ago. If you look at me you can't tell but I have about half as much hair that I used to have.

and the hairstylist sends you to a place to buy your own hair (cuticle hair she said). She said all I would need is a bag of hair. She said she will give me a special brush, and that they should last about 2-3 months

Did you ask ALOT of questions before scheduling the appointment? What brand and method of hair extensions will they be doing?

If they're doing fusion then it might not be a good idea because fine hair tangles fairly easily and then if too much weight from the extension hair and bonding agent are too much it might put stress on hair foliicle causing some damage.

But honestly I can really say for certain b/c I can't lookt at and feel your ahir. And then I have no clue what extension method he/she is using b/c I don't not use glue when I apply extensions.

If you are really nervous go back to the salon talk about it some more. I really hope that you looked at the stylist work and talked to some past clients (just in case deposits are no refundable) especially clients with your hair type.

Good luck hope this helps.

One more thing don't let them fool you into thinking you can go 5-6 months with the extensions. The maxiumum time is 3 months (due to natural hair shedding) even 3 months is pushing it for some hair types.

The glue will damage your hair if they are not applied correctly. Try to keep the glue off of your hair and on the scalp. When removing always use the bond glue remover and comb out any glue reside with conditioner

they do damage your hair and you lose quite a bit, You need to start popping prenatal vitamins, they have 5 or 6 vitamins in one pill and they promote thicker and healthier hair, so that when you do get them in your hair will be stronger and the damage wont be too much if any. Continue to take the vitamins while the extensions are in.
