I have a case of horrible gas, my office smells like that of a dirty old man, and my co-workers are very offended, should I bring in a fruit basket for them tomorrow as sort of a "sorry" present?

Just glare at your nearest co-worker with a look of utter disgust on your face. You don't have to say a word, the look will convey your accusation.

Some type of small gesture might be appropriate, but don't necessarily link it to the incident. Your colleagues will understand. Next time, if you really can't control it, work from home or take the day off. No one wants to smell that all day long - they can't work under those conditions. Obviously stay away form those foods that cause the gas and take Beano, available at any pharmacy, K Mart, WalMart, etc. If it is a frequent problem, it could be the harbinger of a disease. Go see your doctor.

No don't draw attention to it just hope it doesn't happen so much in future and if it does...
...buy some Oust ( the air freshener)
remember, as the advert says,'don't cover up bad odours, oust them!
