I downloaded my pictures on my computer. My Operating system went down when I reload and recovered my pictures they are all thumbnails now and if i go larger they are very blurry. Is there anything I can do to get them back to normal size?? Thanks in advance

no what happened is you saved the thumbnail images and not the orginal. the only thing you can do is to try to retake them. if thats not possible you might try getting paint shop program and editing the pictures enlarging and using the enhancement it offers to repair them.

Sorry, you haven't found the originals, you need to look around some more. It's not like in the movies, you can't blow up a small picture and recover the lost image resolution. Hopefully the real images are somewhere else. In the future try storing them in more than one place, I have mine in an internal drive but also on two external drives, three copies in all. The drives are cheap compared to the impossibility of taking the pictures again, the two didn't cost as much as one trip to Yellowstone.

If your card from your camera has not been used since you downloaded the pictures then it is possible to recover the images using a recovery program you can easily obtain a suitable program from the Internet, some give a trial program so try that.
