The individual packets do not fizz. But, if you use a tsp from the big zip-top bag, then it fizzes. The ingredients listed on the zip-top bag are maltodextrin and sucralose.

depends... what drink are you putting it in? if it's carbonated, it will cause a chemical reaction and start fizzing like crazy. I put it in some club soda and by the time it was done fizzing, there was no soda left in the bottle. I don't know if you have seen the coke/mentos video, but that is similar to what is happening.

cuz it's nasty that's a sign it's bad for you don't use it any more if you don't want it to fizzle
