Here's the situation... this girl finds my profile on MySpace and sends me a message. I talk to her on there for a while, and she seems pretty cool, and she asks me to call her.

I make the call, I chat with her, everything is fun... she's really into me and "loves my voice" and all that. After about a week, she wants to meet up... and is telling me that she's "falling for me".

I offer to take her out to dinner somewhere nice, or to a movie, and then take her home, but she decides she'd rather just rent a movie and hang out at my place for a while.

I agree to this, but tell her that I do not kiss on the first date, as a rule.

We come together and watch a movie, and, well, she makes me break my rule. A lot. We end up going all the way... I was okay with it I guess.

2 days later I learn that she has spent the night with her ex-boyfriend. She calls me to apologize and tells me she wants to be with me instead of him. I flat out deny her and vow never to talk again...

She cries and tells me a bunch of times that she is done with the relationship and that nothing happened between them that night.

Her ex calls me and threatens my life and tells me that they had only been broken up for one night.

I call her back and tell her to leave me alone forever because she A) Lied to me about where she was going that night and B) lied to me about how long she'd been apart from her man.

It upset me because I didn't want to be the guy that some other guy's woman ran off to... I've had that happen to me and I don't wish it on anyone, but she caused me to do it...

So, am I wrong for completely severing communications with her?

I got tired of the death threats, too, and didn't want to get into a violent encounter with her ex, because I didn't want to go to jail (he threatened to shoot me and rape my mom, so, if I saw him, I would have had to just shoot him first, with my vast arsenal of guns).

So what do ya think?

You gave this girl a lot by breaking your "rule." If she couldn't see that and have honored that, then she quite frankly doesn't deserve you. I understand your situation completely, you are not in the wrong at all.

Oh gawd! Are you kidding? YOU TOTALLY MADE THE RIGHT DECISION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOTH of these people are TROUBLE!!!!!!! Who needs that kind of drama in their life? And - seriously - those death threats and the threats of raping your mom - STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! They should stay together - they sound like they deserve each other. And if they stay together, that spares 2 other people from being with a total psycho.

Yes, you made the right decision, for your safety, for your sanity, and for your life. On Myspace - block her. Chnage your phone numbers if you must. If you continue to be harressed, you may have to involve the police.

Good luck and stay safe! Sorry this happened to you - it just goes to show you, there are some scary people on the internet.

Ah, yes, just one more example of the kind of bad things that happen when you put yourself out there on Myspace! Maybe you should delete your myspace page and go out and actually meet someone. Have an actual conversation with them instead of thinking that you know someone because you have exchanged messages on line and have looked at their Myspace profile. Most of the people on Myspace are mis-representing themselves anyway, so why would you trust that this person would be any different?

You did right not to want to see her again as her ex boyfriend still is in the picture. Also, a girl that will sleep with you after only the first date before even knowing you further would leave me to question her being too primesques.

You were not wrong, she lied to you. I dated 4 ladies that I met on the net and they all started out great, but by the time I had known them for 2-months, they were messed up in the head. Never dated anyone I met on the net after that.

Why do you care? First, you are weird for a guy, because most guys want to get laid on the first date. Second, you just met her, she's not your girlfriend. It's really none of your business what she does. You should be seeing other girls too. You sound like a clingy girl.

When you're so easy to seduce you should not be alone with her in your place. And now you say she caused you to go all the way?
Come on....you were there, you might have used your brains!
You only "knew" her a week, so what do you expect?

I think you were absolutely right to cut off all ties, and she's probably using you as a way to make her "ex" man jealous, cause if things were really over, they would have severed their ties.
