Yes,at this point I'll agree with you and thats why I went back to using my old one. So far.. this is what I have always come up against when Microsoft puts out an new version. I allways give them about six months to work out all of the bugs. Being an "guinee pig "I leave up to others..somebody has to do it.. for which I'm very grateful to them, because it saves me alot of aggrivation. I haven't used the Office 2007 as of yet...Hey have a great day everyone...rbrad745....

You obviously don't remember Windows 3.1 or Windows 95 or Windows ME.
At this point I prefer Vista to XP, and I'd say it's far from the worst OS I've ever seen.

For a product they have been working on for years it's not that great.
However you obviously never used Harris Super Vulcan, DOS, DR-DOS, CPM, IBM OS/360, O/S9, pSos or any of the other old 'operating systems'. Compared to them Vista is a small miracle. It just doesn't look so good next to current generation Linux or BSD (Mac OSX).

Sorry Guys... Don't get the DOS bashing here! That's like saying donkeys, as a mode of transportation, suck! Today, with the modern automobile (consider a hummer if you want a true comparison I guess) used as the comparison I guess it would be true. But in it's time, a time before paved highways and automobiles, I'm sure there were many that said after a 10 or 15 mile trip... "Damn glad we had these donkeys... can you imagine making this trip on foot?"
In it's day... MS-DOS did a fine job for me and I don't remember many "Blue Screens of Death!"... of course I don't remember many blue screens! Green and Amber mostly...!

I don't have it yet as I intend to stay with XP for a while, however, I'm sure Vista will be fine after everyone gets used to it. We just don't like having to relearn moves after we have previously learned them with earlier programs.

i dont know yet because i havnt used it but it seems from what ive read that it will be much easier to use, networking will be much easier (thank god)
however it will take awhile to get the bugs worked out usually like 6months then it will be a lot better.
you cant judge it as its pretty much still being tested by the public. you have to wait some time for things to be worked out and fixed before it will be better
