I've been called a troll numerous times today for speaking out in favor of Christianity and those who favor it.
I do apologize for not adoring or approving of
gay marriage, violence against Jews, islam, overwhelming sexual activity among teenagers, women in beekeeper suits, violence in movies and media, women who are pro murder (I'm sorry....pro-choice), guys who can't keep their pants on, etc.
I must be a troll since I'm not 100% in favor of those things, right?
Sorry, but I am proud of Christianity, and if you compare it to islam and atheism it stands proud. Too damn bad if you don't like it.

I can't speak on behalf of Islam but understand this: Atheist is not equal to immoral. Atheist does not mean that one agrees with sexual activity among teens, abortion, violence, etc. You can complain about being judged by Atheists all you want but the bottom line is you are no better by what I have read here. Doesn't your religion teach not to judge unless you are judged? Doesn't it teach to turn the other cheek as well? (Or is it an eye for an eye? I guess that one depends on who you ask since most Christians pick and choose what to follow. Notice I said most not all).
Lashing out against Atheists and Islam does not make you or your religion look any better than those you are judging here. It simply makes you look like a hypocrite therefore you are poorly representing your people.

No, I haven't noticed that. In my experience, it's the Christians who seem more close-minded and conservative. However, I can't say that even the majority are like that, since I don't think I've been around both groups (Atheists and Christians) enough to make a judgment one way or the other.
Perhaps your being called a troll is not because of what you say, but how you say it. I haven't seen any of your other questions, but if you use this same kind of wording in the future, you will probably be causing a lot more trouble for yourself.

Thomas Jefferson once said, “Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions. Ideas must be a distinct idea of the trinity. It is the abracadabra of the mountebanks calling themselves the priests of Jesus”
It is not being closed minded to disbelieve in man-made characters. In fact, if there was a poll, I think you'd find that Atheists are more accepting of things like pro-choice and alternate sexuality lifestyles.

I'd say the reason you were called a troll was not just because your a christian.
You claim athiests are close minded, and then you go on to stereotype athiests as:
1) being violent
2) being anti-semitic
3) being whores
4) agreeing with murder
Christianity is a religion first, and a way of life second. You don't have to be a christian to have morals. The fact that you can't see that shows your close mindedness.
Are you calling athiests close minded because they don't convert to christianity when you give your mega convincing argument of 'have faith!'?

To label ALL "open-hearted" (what ever that means) atheists as being pro any of those things is simply unfair. It would be like an atheist saying that ALL christians are arrogant and unwilling to accept the beliefs of other people.

You do not have to agree but they have just as much right to their opinion as you have to yours.
As for you being proud of Christianity ... pride is at the root of all sin.
Pride goes before destruction, and a stiff spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:18

I'm proud of my daughter. I therefore like to present her to people in a positive light. I'm proud of my wife. I tell people of her achievements, her skills and her kindness.
You say you are proud of your Christianity. But your answers do not present a very positive attitude to others or to people you disagree with. If people interpret what you say as the words of a Christian, how are you 'favouring' your religion?

I think that the Atheists in general here tend to make fun of people and ridicule people more. That's not open minded. Everyone has the right to believe as they wish, or to not believe as they wish, but if someone were to look at the religion questions on here, they'd see a high level of sarcasm and inability to accept from the Atheist answerers.

you should apologize for those things, and be ashamed. Compared to islam and atheism christianity looks ignorant and judgemental, and yes, I do believe you are a troll, you opened your mind so much I think your brain fell out, lol!

Personally.... I call you out and call you a troll because you literally take my answers and try to make me look bad. That, I take as a great insult. You are the one who is closed minded.
