You haven't kept up with the news have you? The Canadian Court system has been sending these deserters back when they hit the system. Their claims for asylum have not been found adequite as the Canadian courts refuse to discuss the legality of the Iraq war, rather the fact these deserters have broken a contract and are wanted criminals in the US. That is why some are cutting deals with the US military to go back to the States and face their punishment.

Nope, if they want to treat our citizens better than we do, we should let them. I think we call it a volunteer army... why would these ppl need to flee to a different freaking country??? God forbid bush would reinstate the draft, but Canada would double overnight!! I've been there, Canada is very nice.

yes we should find and prosecute all cowards no matter where they run to and hold the government of Canada accountable for allowing these worms to find refuge

Well with a population of "conscientious objectors" the invasion would be mostly unopposed, and therefore wouldn't take very long.
