I've seen those split ender things on the shopping channels (they get rid of your split ends apparently)...anyone know if they are any good?

WOW we truly can get suckered into and thing. First off no that thing scares the hell out of me I had a client bring it in so I could see what this thing was all about and all I can say is DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! How can some thing only cut the split ends and not healthy hair? think about it.

YES And NO, It Depends On What You Mean By "WORK" They Will Remove Your Split Ends. (You Can Get This Done With A Good Trim) But That Won't Keep Them From Comming Back! If You Need To Keep Your Hair From Splitting, Eat Plenty Of High Quality Protiens (Meat,Eggs,Fish,Soy Etc.)Fresh, Raw Veggies And Drink Plenty Of PLAIN Fresh Water. Take Vitamins Too. And Use A Good Gentle Shampoo(Pantene PRO-V Restoratives- Breakage Defense) And Treatment Conditioner (MATRIX Biolage ForteThérapie Cera-Repair⢠) These WILL "Work"-Good Luck!

I doubt it, b/c once the hair splits there is nothing you can do to mend it. Best bet is to trim the hair a little bit to get rid of the damaged ends.
