Because greasy foods have too much of a likelihood to have odd shapes and there isn't much care in preparing it. Sushi is hand rolled and most of the time prepared by someone who is knowledgeable in rolling sushi.

I don't know about you, but I see Her Holiness on my california roll all the time. She also likes hummus. Lots of Virgin Mary in the hummus.

It's an optical illusion.
How can we even be sure we know what she looks like? She never posed for a picture or a painting. The commen pictures of her were painted years later. I wish they would have painted more Biblical figures. Then we wouldn't have to use as much imiganation.
