It does take time and depends on lots of things. Your personality, how deep in love you were, etc. People need the lesson to mature, so look at the positive side. There are definetely lots of girls who will love you for who you are. So just find a hobby, new interest, distraction, take your time and you'll be just fine.
Keep your chin up and good luck

It depends on the depth of the feelings & the relationships. Sometimes it takes a long time & it isn't because of the person not being there anymore it's more so about the pain of rejection. To be rejected is what causes that feeling of a broken heart. It's what has you asking yourself, why wasn't I good enough or what did I do wrong. Nobody likes being rejected and we hold on the pain of it & the fear of it happening again.
Love yourself & rejection won't seem like such a bad thing, especially when you realize it's there loss.

Depends on how much you really loved her. Could be along time. Sorry. The pain will go away real quick though if you find another person to give your affection and love to and get it back from them in return. As the old saying goes," The best way to get over one relationship is to get into another one." Good luck!!

I left my boyfriend of 4years in Sept because I knew I we wouldn't work out in the long run. It still hurts to this day though time has eased the pain. Don't dwell on what went wrong, remember what went right. Keep those memories close to you and move on. Eventually the hurt will subside and you'll be able to move on.
