It is tougher, stiffer, and less resilient than healthy unscarred tissue. it is more likely to tear or have abrasion problems than regular skin.

I think it is stronger, after breast operation from cancer I had scar tissue build up it was hard, and grew at a pretty quick rate, it had to be removed cause it became very painful in a already painful area
