ok now that the laughter has subsided. i agree. my hubby likes to wear the pants to. i let my him. he works hard for it.

Your question initially makes no sense. If you are talking about being your own boss, then perhaps you are correct. If you are talking about your parents and this is a juvenile question, then you are free to learn and understand what law is. Depending on the parents beliefs, this could be postive or negative.
