The most used name in the bible is John. Many different characters share that name. Among the women, there are many Marys. Moses is the most famous in the Old Testament, so are Elijah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, etc. In the New Testament, Peter, Paul, John the Baptist, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, etc etc.
