Why do we ( the U. S. A. ), have to house, cloth, feed, give health care, give jobs, to the whole world. What is wrong with each country taking care of its own.

Not unless half a million U.S. immigrants are allowed to move there. If they're all coming here we might as well be allowed to go there and make livings for ourselves. Fact is that America won't be America much longer so all of us legal citizens will eventually have to move and start over.

No.....I don't think any other government should dictate how many or even if we have to accept immigrants....legal or otherwise. It's not their business. It seems the US is expected to care for all the worlds ills while they just go on status quo. I mean we already are one of the most generous places that accept immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers and now illegals.....makes one think twice about doing anything nice when then your expected to do more and more and more.

Absolutely not!!! The U.S. needs to enforce current immigration laws. They need to hire more INS Officers. If that don't work the U.S. needs to place the Marines on guard like at Guatanimo Bay, Cuba. If any one wants to come to the US do it the legal way. Perhaps we need to start more business in Mexico or guard the border better. Treat our borders as a terrist threat.

Absolutely. Let's cut it to that number immediately.
Right now we take about a million legally, one way and another, and about an equal number come illegally.
This President Zedillo is a smart man.

Don't we already do that. I am so sick of everyone talk so much crap about the Mexicans. Do you people not realize that we have other foreign nationals migrating from other parts of the world. Just because a person speaks Spanish don't stereo type by thinking they are Mexican. For those who say we are feeding, clothing, and supporting the "illegal immigrants" in this country educate yourself before you type.

I think of the utter shame and disgrace it must be to run a government and say, "We are so inept that we cannot run our own country, so we send our citizens out for other countries to take care of". The sad thing is that they do not have enough dignity to understand what a disgrace that is.

We will accept them if President Zedillo pay for their stay, health care, education for their children, housing, car insurance, etc. and with dollars. Then and only then we could sit down and talk about it and let them work our fields.
