These are the sign I could think of for right now. Warning: They might not be full-proof..
1. Keeps staring at you...
2. Always wants to be by the desired person
3. Compliments on most outfits(Definitely not 100%, but is a pretty good sign.)
4. Always Talk About You When His Or Her Friends..
5. Ask You On Date (100%)

Well, I happen to be shy and there are a lot of women I have liked and wanted to go out with who had no idea that I had any interest in them. If you like the person and you are not shy, it would be easier for you to ask him if he like you or not. Don't wait for the shy person to show that they like you cause itj's not going to happen.

Just watch for subtle signs like eye contact, smiling, getting nervous in your presence, or that person trying to spend more time being close to you than usual, the other person striking up random conversations with you or even asking other people about you.

There are many signs to show that someone is atrracted to you.
1. Doesn't make eye contact.
2. Walks away when you are around him/her
3. Talks really fast to you.
4. Never usally around you.
5. Sweats when he/she is around you

read the body language. If they look at you from across the room for more than a few seconds, they're keen. Go sit next to them, if they cross their legs away from you or cross their arms they're not. If they cross their legs towards you (top knee) or smile then they're comfortable to be with you so start to chat.

speaking as someone who used to be really shy, just take them to the side and ask them.
dont make it sound threatening. maybe ask them what kind of person they usually go for.
if you like them say something like "i really like you and i was wondering what you think of me" as this will boost their confidence so they are more likely to answer truthfully instead of trying to hide.
