He says he hopes i still hang with our group of friends and when he broke it off he had said maybe now just isn't the right time...he also says he's having a hard time with it and will miss being together. do you think he will try to get back together someday?

Don't make the mistake of holding on to him. No matter if he does or doesn't want to get back together some time, MOVE ON. If he wants you back he will be the one to chase you, get on with your life and let him take his time, i am sure there are plenty of guys who would love and respect only you, so don't waste your time

Unfortunately I don't think he will want to get back together. It seems like hes a nice a guy and was letting you down easy by saying "it isn't the right time right now" Also of course he is going to have a hard time getting over you...you guys were in a relationship and it was comfortable. When something in someone's routine changes they are going to feel some discomfort. Sorry to be harsh but I would find a rebound!

He is keeping his options open for a booty call or in case other things don't work out for him. You can still be friends but I think that if he says its over then its over - If he wants it not to be over he will tell you, try to move on and find someone who wants to be with you right now the way you are the way things are and someday is now.... Move on, good luck...

I have a lot of male friends and one thing i was told was that they will say ANYTHING to continue to sleep with their ex's. but on the other hand, he could want this space b/c someone else may have caught his eye and he wants to give her a try without hurting you. and maybe if things don't work out with her he may come back. with situations like these you just have to sit back and see how it all plays out.
