I was told I can deduct what I paid for my license plates in Indiana. This is the first time I do them in this state, if you know where they go please let me know. Thanks.

As far as I recall, you can't deduct the personal property portion of the license fee on the state return, but you can deduct it on Schedule A of the Form 1040 under "Taxes You Paid", Line 7. Remember, the entire amount you paid isn't deductible-only the portion that exceeds the base license fee.
