One mother was located in Texas after her 7-year-old child called a state hot line set up to help reunite the families, authorities said. The Massachusetts governor said the woman would be returned to Massachusetts.

"The children go to sleep crying and asking for their mother. They feel her absence," the woman said. "And we can do is wait and wait, and hope they don't deport her."

Irregardless of borders and your immigration status how would you feel if you were ripped apart from your children, imagine the desperation and anguish.

As a new father I find it unimaginable and can fathom the anguish they must feel. God bless them and may Mexico and all countries of the world one day prosper so that children won’t go without their parents, suffer hunger and violence and be separated from their parents.

There is no reason for parents to leave their children behind anywhere. Thousands of US citizen children live abroad with their non-citizen parents; if parents abandon their children, they might be doing so in hopes of stirring up this very kind of ill-thought-out sympathy, in order to get back into the US. If that's the case, I have to say that the children are probably better off without their heartless conniving mothers and fathers.

Exactly what the slaves went through... Except they didn't KNOW this could happen. That person KNEW there was a possibility that could happen so no one should complain about this being unfair, blame the mother ;)

regardless of race, color, creed, religion and any other, it is un-human to separate a parent from a child, unless that parent is a threat to that child. Any one who feels that the parents deserved it because they came over illegally does not have a heart and should not be allowed to have any children of their own and should be checked into a hospital for mental problems
