In my opinion Roy Jones Jr. is, if not the greatest boxer in the history of this sport then definitely among the top two and I believe that, at this best, he would beat Joe Calzaghe and everyone else on this list. But the reason why I'm ranking him as number 2 here is because light heavyweight division is where he had most success in his career and Joe, on the other hand, only competed in super middleweight division as a professional and had better results there then any boxer ever.

a million) Manny Pacquiao 2) Bernard Hopkins 3) Floyd Mayweather Jr 4) Lennox Lewis 5) Roy Jones Jr/Calzaghe *6) Oscar De l. a. Hoya (that's real that he replaced right into a huge enterprise, made a huge impression in the game and and so on, yet I do basically not imagine he did adequate on the 15-year span to declare a accurate 5 spot, he lost a lot of massive fights and nevertheless received some besides, and he confronted alot of stressful situations, scuffling with the finest, and that's the reason he's my #6.

The blogbaba's top ten are as follows:

Sugar Ray Robinson
Roy Jones
Marvin Hagler
James Toney
Thomas Hearns
Bernard Hopkins
Roberto Duran
Sugar Ray Leonard
Stanley Ketchel
Gerald McClellen

Jones, and Toney won heavyweight titles, and Ketchel dropped Jack Johnson to almost win one. The rest are multiple titlists of unquestioned stature in boxing, and even though the weight class didn't exist during the careers of several, they belong on the all time great list due to merit. I put McClellan on the list for the sake of argument because of sentimental reasons.
