It was purchased Feb 2,07 the stamp date is 2/28/07, it went in the freezer immediately. Now I've removed it, and thawed, how long will it last, or is it too late since it's past 2/28/07?

I watched an expose on GMA a while back about common products in the fridge and how long they last. Lunch meat from the deli only really lasts 3-2 days. After that, it starts growing this horrible bacteria. Pre-packaged lunch meat only lasts 3-5 days after opened.
Usually, when you freeze food like that and thaw it, the shelf life is cut by at least 1/3. Try to eat it w/in a couple days.
