No...there are several forms of faith.

Some comes after knowing...but as the memory fades and other's tell you that you are dreaming - faith in what you experienced. (just another example)

From Star Trek Enterprise:

Faith of the Heart

It’s been a long road… Getting from there to here
It’s been a long time… But my time is finally near
And I can feel the change in the wind right now
Nothing’s in my way
And they’re not gonna hold me down no more
No they’re not gonna hold me down

Cause I’ve got faith of the heart
I’m going where my heart will take me
I’ve got faith to believe… I can do anything
I’ve got strength of the soul
And no one’s gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star
I’ve got faith, I’ve got faith, faith of the heart

It’s been a long night… Trying to find my way
Been through the darkness… Now I’ve finally had my day
And I will see my dream come alive at last
I will touch the sky
And they’re not gonna hold me down no more
No they’re not gonna change my mind

Cause I’ve got faith of the heart
I’m going where my heart will take me
I’ve got faith to believe… I can do anything
I’ve got strength of the soul
And no one’s gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star
I’ve got faith, I’ve got faith, faith of the heart

I know that we’re so cold… We’ve seen the darkest days
But now the winds I feel… Are only winds of change
I’ve been though the fire… I’ve been through the rain
But I’ll be flying, oh yeah

Cause I’ve got faith of the heart
I’m going where my heart will take me
I’ve got faith to believe… I can do anything
I’ve got strength of the soul
And no one’s gonna bend or break me
I can reach any star
I’ve got faith, I’ve got faith, faith of the heart

Yes Faith is always "blind" if by the word Blind you mean Without Certainty. Otherwise it would be called deductive reasoning or knowledge.

By definition faith can never = truth

You can either look it up and use the word appropriately or make up your own definition like many people seem to do.

Faith is blind until we are given the sight to understand truly what it is. For most of us, we are not spiritually elevated enough to really see the nature of the Divine, and have to wait for the grace of a guru or similar enlightened soul to help uplift us so that we may share in the vision and understanding.

I don't know about that. It was after Jesus healed the blind man that he had faith.

Faith is never blind.

Faith is not synonomous with todays definition of the word "hope'(which has been distorted from the original)

It Biblically, is; The substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is a spiritual tangible...it is not "maybe" but "I know"----I just can not provide empirical evidence....and from my perspective,it is not necessary.

No, true faith cannot remain blind. It may be a starting point many times but it is not the way that God intends for us to live. You see, Jesus promised,

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. (Matt 7:7-8)

God with strengthen your faith with your own personal proof. But, since that proof is so personal, it cannot be shared with others as God expects all of us to develop our own faith.

Things that your senses experience will parish, but the things you can't sense are eternal. So, in the physical sense, your answer is yes. But in the spiritual, no.

Of course it is.
If it wasn't then it would be called deductive reasoning.
