I have a favorite hangout I go to and have friendships with some of the female staff there, but it could be one way friendships - ie friends only while working. What signs might a waitstaffer give to a guy they're interested in, and what signs might give away a 'not interested'? Assume that some level of affection (either kissing on cheek or hugs or hand holding) or equivalent playfulness has gone on. PS it's a close nit/family business

If you can't tell if a woman is interested in you then she is not.

There are always signs that you can pick up without anyone spelling them out to you.

Rather than try to figure out which women are interested in you, focus who YOU are interested in.

You can let her know you are interested by complementing her, like telling her she is very pretty or she looks great or has beautiful hair and smile with a wink.

In other words flirt with her and see how see responds.

Then you could ask her to have coffee or go outside and talk during break.

Oh, she likes you all right. Does she turn a light shade of pink when you're around, or bat her eyelashes? If so, she's flirting. If she attempts to hold your hand, or likes to be alone with you, she's seriously in love. But, if she doesn't like you, she will shy away from you if you do something daring. Do you get what I mean?

If that has happened then she's most likely kind of interested in you. Just go along with it and try not to make it weird. If that happens then there's is no chance what so ever.
