my car is not feelin so great, and I have an 8 o clock class tomorrow morning. riding my bike is the only way I can get up there. campus is 13 miles away from my house, and that route goes through down town colorado springs. I can't leave before 6 because of daycare constraints for my little man. I'm a pretty athletic girl, but by no means a biker. can I make it to my class on time?

wow, this sounds like an SAT, GMAT question... so many scenarios... i'm assuming if you are thinking about doing it, you must have done it before or the 13-miles doesn't really daunt you... if you have a road bike, you should definitely be able to make it within an hour (unless it is very hilly)... mountain bike might take a little more effort and add another 10-15 minutes... i would start at 6:30-6:45 if you can. if you get there early you can grab a smoothie or coffee to replenish the lost calories...

An hour should give you enough time. If it's mostly flat. If there are a lot of hills on the way or a lot of stop lights that will slow you down, maybe an hour and 10 min.

without knowing the terrain and type of bike, I would guess at 1 hour
