Yes. There are linguistic groups in America whose native language predates the US. Native American, Acadian French, Pennsylvania Dutch. Sure, most of them speak fluent English today, but we should respect their traditions.

No. Here's why: If we made them available in Spanish, then the immigrants who only speak Italian would get offended. So then we'd have to do ballots in Italian, at which point the German-Americans would get offended. Then we release ballots in German, and before long the people who only speak Japanese get offended. Then after we make them available in Japanese the Chinese get offended, then we make Chinese ballots and the Africans who speak Swahili get offended...get the picture? The vast majority of American citizens speak English, so the official language of the United States should be English and all the ballots and road signs should be in English and anyone applying for a drivers license should be able to speak and read English. Our country, our rules. You don't want to abide by those rules, you don't have to live here.

No. This is a country whose primary language is English. The fully participate in this country in all aspects, you need to know English. I speak enough of a couple of other languages, Spanish being one of the, to be able to hold a conversation but I still believe that English is the language of this country and if you want to live here and fully participate in this country, you need to learn English.
I would not go to Mexico, for example, and expect the Mexicans to learn English. If I were to move there, it would be my responsibility to learn Spanish if I wanted to fully participate in their country and way of gervernment.

No. We live in the United States of America, USA. If someone is able to vote they should be a citizen. If a foreigner wants to move here they have to learn our language and laws just like we do.
If they want the same things they had where they came from, they need to go back. We didn't move there, they moved here!!!!! We have to follow our government and laws, foreigners are no different if they are wanting to have a permanent home in the USA. WE SPEAK AMERICAN!!!!!!!!! Not french, spanish, asian or any other countries language!

I am sorry but this is America and we speak English. I don't have a problem with people coming into the country but learn to speak the language of the country you are going to live in. I would not live in France not knowing how to speak French.

Yes, I think so. But if this is for homework help, maybe you should ask in that section and be a little more detailed so that you can get some good research advice and starting points.
