Apparently Prince Charles has launched the first British Tourism Week which aims to aims to show us that tourism is vital to the economy of the United Kingdom and that anyone with any sense would take a holiday close to home rather than spend our money going to all these johnny foreigner places!

So where's the best spot for a fortnight's break in the UK, and where's the spot that would be about as good as having a fortnight in hospital?

Blackpool was a flea pit. Visited last week and hated it.

Worst place I've been is Bude, its on the West coast well rubbish nothing around for miles and miles (OK if its a walking holiday i suppose). One of the best places I've been was Looe in Cornwall, its absolutely gorgeous with loads of beautiful places around to visit.

Worst place has to be St Leonards in Hastings cos there is nothing to do and place is falling apart.and the best place is in my opinion is Central London.

Worst place is toss up between North Peckham and Barking and Dagenham

Best place...well it depends on what you like to do.

well, i live in dorset, and it's pretty special all year round, and the second most expensive place to live in the UK, so thats gotta count for something!..beautiful beaches, fab countryside, good shops, restaraunts, great nightlife, lots of activities for couples and familys...well worth a visit.
i wouldnt wanna live anywhere else in the UK.

The worst for families these days is Blackpool,it's full of gays and drunken chavs!
