Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 states that the dead are conscious of nothing at all.

Therefore, once dead, you have no memory of anything, you are simply like non-existant. No though pattern, no perception of where you are, nothing at all.

Like a deep sleep with no recollection of ever falling asleep.

The mind does not easily die with the body. It can be proven by most people losing their finger. Until they fully realized that they could no longer use the part that was missed, most of the time in the early stage, the owner of the lost finger still feel some sensation that it is still there.
Science have seen through a camera a certain smoke looking shape that goes out of the body which the religion calls the soul, spirit or ghost. This probably may be is what we call energy and energy oftentimes are storage of some informations that only vanishes in time.

That is a question best answered by the dead. Anybody who says they have the answer and try to have you believe they know is a LIE. If they did have a conversation with the dead they weren't talking to who they thaught they were talking to.1 SAMUEL 28;6-14. Note the word PERCIEVETH verse 14. My point it was not Samuel that this wizard lady summoned but rather in Saul's desperation an image given by the devil. If God has not appointed and annointed you to be a seer, prophet or anything of that matter and you find yourself claiming to be so you are a LIE.

It makes sense if you think about it. Have you ever gotten smacked in the head, hard enough to pass out or just kind of lose yourself for a second or two? Then you come to and you're on your *** saying "what the heck happened?"

It's easy to imagine sudden death being like that.

The problem is - it's almost like anthropomorphism. (There's probably a better term for it, but I haven't a clue what it is.) Basically you're ascribing human experience to something that can't be reported back on.

How can anyone know they are dead? They are dead lacking in any consciousness at all.

Do you not think the question would be better if it was about dying a slow death and being prepared for your death versus a sudden death.

The result in either case is death.

You are dead you feel nothing.

Know one can say I am dead.

If they did they would not be so.

No one can ever know exactly what happens after death til they die. The Bible makes it clear that if you believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you'll go to heaven. If you don't, then you won't go to heaven. But He doesn't give a lot of specifics; I do know that, when Jesus hung on the cross, He told the man next to Him who repented that "This day, you will be with me in paradise."

It depends on your personal belief. I believe in reincarnation and I also believe that it is possible for your spirit to experience a moment of confusion with a sudden death.

No! I think that is good fiction for movies like; I see dead people from the "6th sense" movie ( I think that's the name of it.)

So be prepared for sudden death and if you suddenly die please let me know if it is true! E-mails will be accepted!!
