Going to Florida soon and I wanted to know if software bought from there will work in England.

depends on the operating system. If you are using WIndows, then yes a Windows application will work. You may have to be careful about the software you are buying though. The US has stringent export policies and you may be violating them by transporting the software out of the states. (most games are OK usually it is business software that is really scrutinized) If you are travelling with/for your company then you should ask your export control manageer. If you are just traveling on your own you might want to ask the state department.

It should work anywhere.
Usually only national laws prohibit you from transporting certain software in and out of certain countries.

The USA is where just about all your software comes from anyway

It should work fine, however if it's to use with external hardware they should have drivers for your country.
