A woman walks in to a room and speaks to a Christian man and asks "How do you know that God is on the otherside of death waiting for you? Are you ever scared what could happen after this?"
As the man was about to answer there was a scratching at the door, the man opened the door and his dog ran in and was wagging his tail overjoyed to see his master. As he calmed and petted the dog he said "this is my dog and she has never been here before. She had no idea what possible dangers could be on the other side, but she did know her master was in here and that was all she need to know"
I hope this helps when you are explaining the glory of God
And what is instore for us after this life

I know there could be more to the story
but I thought that I should keep it short
I think it has a powerful message

You are saying that because it's a dog it's a bad example
Well some say that homosexuality is normal because it takes place in the animal kingdom.
So how can you say this is wrong?
I know dogs who are smarter then, I'm guessing most of you are

Awww, I loved it! I'm a dog lover and I believe in God. So, thank you for the story, quite cute! Doesn't sound like non=believers will get it though, but who knows, maybe everytime they see a DOG they'll think of GOD. IF they read this, the ideas in their head, and won't get out!!!!!!!! Thanks Crystal!

But the dog didn't have to die to see his master. Death is not a two way door my dear, the dog could have just stayed at the door, and not walked through the door but still "seen" his master. So no, this story doesn't really explain our burden.

The dog is also, and this is quite crucial, stupid. Dogs have - on average - the intellect of a 1 year old human child, and the number of dogs who die while running towards something they want is very obviously quite high.
Therefore, you are talking utter nonsense.

Help what? explain your lack of common sense?
Its a powerful message, if you have the simple mammalian brain of a canine, you don't have worry about life, you can expect your master to be there (note its a master slave relationship) that's why dogs stave to death when their 'masters' die... dumb loyalty.
I on the other hand I don't believe in god, so I don't have a master waiting for me, thus I am not a slave! And how did the analogy of a dog get you to link it with Homosexuality? I don't particularly want to experiment with homosexual sex, but if others do, that's their problem/luck, good luck to them... It has nothing to do with your sad attempt to describe loyalty to a 'god' as like that of a dog to his master...

That is truly awesome! Shows the faith we must have in our Lord and Savior, because we KNOW of His goodness and how He is our God--we know without Him we would be lost- we would be miserable....I cannot imgaine not having the Lord Jesus in my life.
Luke 9:23
Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
Luke 14:27
And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

First of all, how did the dog get there if it had never been there before? Anyway, there was proof the owner was on the other side of the door. The dog could hear and most likely smell the owner. There is no such proof of god.

So as long as everyone thinks like a dog rather than a human we will all be saved?

Are you equating the love of God for man as the dog loves his master??? Kind of weird.. Dog's aren't too smart anyway... I think it is a question that is almost too powerful to answer simply...

Beautiful analogy! That is exactly how I feel as long as God is with me, who can be against me? I love it!
