We got high in the church, we "hot boxed" the confessionals we broke all the windows and tore down the cross that was still standing we even urinated on it and other places around the church. And lastly I lost my virginity in it and took another girls as well.

I am being 100% serious; I actually did all of this.

Looking back on it I feel kinda bad, but I still dont really believe in god, I just sorta feel bad for destroying something on a historic level more then religious.

Down the line if I find god, can I still be forgiven?

Yes....with a sincere heart, You'll find that not only will He forgive you, but He also promises everyone of your sins into a sea of forgetfulness, never to be remembered or held against you anymore. He is a very kind and loving Lord. He is waiting on you to come to Him so that He can make Himself very real to you. Please don't listen to all the unbelieving scoffers on here. PEACE!!!

You should feel sorry for vandalizing any structure not your own. Destruction is never pro-active. You should also feel pleasantly happy about your first sexual conquest. It's not always the best but certainly up there. And lastly...I'm sure G-d will forgive you for being a punk at the time. I'm not sure if you know this but nowhere in the Torah or even book two does it command anyone to go to church or synagogue. Neither does it attempt to vest any structure as holy (First and Second Temple excluded). Those religious icons are man's concept. So from a spiritual stand point it could have easily been a barn too. Hope you find G-d...or at least continue the search, it beats the alternative.

My guess, based on your guilt, is that you actually believe to a certain extent. The historical value of anabandoned anything is very minimal.

Whatever the case - you don't need to feel bad about the church. It was Catholic or it wouldn't have had a confessional. Catholics deconsecrate their church's before they abandon them, thus making them not churches anymore.

Even to Catholics, you just misbehaved in an abandoned building.

Down the line, of course you would. Down the line suggests that some life-changing thought or experience would make you realise the error of your ways.

Since you then felt sorry for what you did, you would forgiven.

If however you are still an atheist at the end of it all, then it doesn't matter a jot anyway. Remember the fun times!

Since the church was abandoned, it was just an uninhabited building, I think. It is wrong to vandalize other peoples property, but what would adolescence be without sex, drugs and mischief? If you find God down the line, I sure he won't hold it against you.

to be frogiven by god is to say that god does exist and if he does then the world wouldn't be in the state that it is .... so hypothetically if you did find god and ask for forgiveness he has no choice but to forgive you ... i dont think there is anything he cant forgive you for ...
but i dont think you should need to ask for forgiveness for that ...what about the christians who go and deface satanic or other non christian religions places of worship or their equivalent of crosses ... ? who is to say what you did needs forgiving but that does not?
just something to think on .... i dont believe in god either and if i did what you did i wouldnt think twice about needing forgiveness
