Midge...I am sorry, I did not see you asked another question until this afternoon. There are days when all the name calling and hate mongering get me down too...and no, not a lot comes from the Christians...though some does. Its almost as if some answers simply want to strike out at others and hurt them...and that is sad.
But there are some good people on here...look for those who are gentle and respectful in their answers and those who like to bring a little levity to everyone. Just ignore the others...some people I just do not even read anymore because its predictable that they will always say something hateful...there opinion, to me, is worthless.

So, what is your point?
Many Christians are intolerant.
So are many non-Christians.
Why?
Because many people are intolerant.
Just because people are not nice to you and call you names, does not therefore mean that some Christians are not intolerant as well.
If you consider this persecution (such as Matt 5:10), go visit believers in Uzbekistan or another similar country.
Then we will see if you understand what persecution is.

True Christians are examples to those around them and not quick to anger nor quick to judgment. We must show love as Jesus showed it. We must be merciful as Jesus showed mercy. A true Christian is a person of moral clarity and a comfort to those around them.
God bless.

told you that you were headed down the wrong path with that whole bad mood question. maybe you should take a break from justifying what you are doing today and just take a minute to see if there is any truth to it. seems kind of like you are making this about you without really accepting any responsibility.
you know, when more than one person points at my shoes, i stop thinking they are super cute and check to see if there is toilet paper stuck on one of them.
have you looked at your feet today?

Oh, come on... don't act like it bothers you that we're calling you names. You love every moment of it. In your sick little Christian mind, your rudeness is only "spreading the gospel" and our rebuttals are persecution of your faith. This gives you a reason to think to yourself, "Well, one day, they'll all be in hell." And don't act like the thought of me burning for eternity doesn't make you moist. Christians get off on guilting others.

Midge, now you're going from Queen of the World to Poor Persecuted Midge.
They don't dislike you for stating "Christian views." They don't like that you are offensive and insensitive about it.

I called you provocative and disrespectful because that's what you are, it's nothing to do with intolerance. Do you not realise you come across as a spiteful bigot?

a fly is worse than hitler? wow.
christians, in the worst of their times, have been very damn intolerant and that has resulted in deaths, not namecalling on a forum, and I've watched you spout some very bigoted tripe right here on Y!A.

Hun, if that many people are calling you out for your intolerance? Maybe you should take a good look at yourself.
