At age 26 years old I make my own decisions. My husband and I communicate about everything.

But there are times I need to go to my parents for advice. I listen to both mom and dad and then figure out what will work for me. I would say I listen to them always, but I don't do what they tell me to do.

If their advice make sense and it works for me...I would. Actually taking their advice, I do it about 6 or 7.(most of the time)

I'm 29, and I listen to everything my mother tells me. The older I get the more I realize she's always been right!

Well, I would put in at about 9. My mom has this uncanny ability that I call the kiss of death. If she warns me about something and I ignore her, it almost always turns out that she was right.

I'm 46 BTW.
