Theres a tiny bump on my dogs leg. I noticed him limping when he first wakes up then he stops, but kept favoring his right back leg. I looked at it and eventually noticed a little bump.

It doesnt really seem to put him in alot of pain but he starts growling a little when you touch it. I looked at it, and its a little (Less than half a penny, probably the same as a pen; not the tip but the back end of a regular ball point pen) white bump. The first thing I thought was it was a tumor, but I dont think a tumor looks like that; and doubt it would be on the outside of his leg. Im taking him to a vet, but just wanted to see what you think it is?

It could be so many things; a spider bite, a tumor (yes they can grow on the outside), a syst, an ingrown hair, a skin tag...

A vet is probably best, thank you for being responsible and taking him.

Good luck, I'm sure it will be fine

I think the vet would be the best bet, but he could possibly have a thorn or pricker in his leg that is irritating the skin around it and causing swelling. It could be a tick, or maybe even a spider bite...

~and your right, it's most likely not a tumor because tumors dont grow over night-- tumors occur when a human or animals p53 gene that checks cell growth gets mutated or damaged somehow, so the cells dont know when to stop dividing and growing-- however it takes awhile for noticeable signs.

I have no idea. Maybe a spider or something bit him?
I'm glad you're taking him to the vet. Good luck. I sure hope it's nothing serious.

Take him to a vet, it is giving him pain and enough to impact his attitude to you. It may be nothing in the end, but right now its serious enough to warrant a professional opinion.
