how relieve itching from a rash, not exactly sure what the rash is from, covers the whole body?

It sounds as though you have tried the normal things for regular rashes. It does not sound as though you have asked the doctor what caused the rash in the first place, though. You need to know if you are allergic to something, or if you have a problem that only a doctor can solve for you. Do you have any serious virus that could cause the rash? If so, make certain you have made your doctor aware of this. Many times, things like a rash can really be the body's way of telling you that something is really wrong. Since the cortizone did not work and powders don't work, I'd be very curious as to what has caused this body rash. I hope that you have tried just taking baths in regular baking soda and water. This always calmed my rashes down, when they felt like I was itchy inside and out! Do you really have a body rash, or are you covered in hives? These can look a great deal alike.
