She will run in between us and growl when he even leans in for a kiss! She would never bite unless he was beating me or something but still it is frustrating. It is getting to be a reoccuring disagreement and I want to fix this. What do I do?

Is it only for protection, or does she growl at people at other times? Does she have a reason to be fearful of him near you?

Either way you need to let the dog know who is boss, which should include all people that you have allowed into the home. Let the dog know this is not acceptable. Crate if you have to.

What you do is get this dog into obedience classes where someone can teach you how to train your dog. Make no mistake, a dog who's being allowed to growl like this one is, will one day escalate into biting someone! Letting any dog growl at a person even once is a huge mistake and this dog is the one who's going to end up paying when she does bite someone and it'll be because she wasn't trained and didn't realize what she was doing was wrong!

get a training collar for her and keep her on her leash. when he comes near you and she growls give it a firm but gentle tug and correct her. let him walk her on the leash with the collar on.
