Ah...good answers, everyone !

Well, to RuneAmok..I choose the "turban" on my avatar simply because I have major hair loss at this time, due to illness, so please don't "bash" me for choosing a pic that somewhat reflects my present look and also to you...do these words sound familiar?..and I quote...

"So my point is, I now understand why some christians claim that atheists are really just angry at god and we only come here to bash.

Naturally they're still incorrect (duh!) in many cases, but now I actually understand where they're coming from."

So, please practice what you "preach"
thats all I have to say about that...will get back to you all in a day or so

Saying something that is meant to offend and hurt someone, making outrageous comments about someone's ideology/philosophy for effect rather than thinking of the consequences.........there are many ways to tell someone you disagree with them without resorting to taunting, name calling and the like........I would ask myself this: if I ask or answer in this manner will it cause someone else any kind of suffering including intending to provoke anger. Best to you.

Writing specifically to anger another, typically a group. Especially when you phrase the question or response to pass judgement on the group.

Promoting hatred of another just because of how they are identified.

Arguing with another over opinions on a particular religious point or principle. "Bible bashing" is when you use quotations and scriptures from the Bible to support your point of view.

Blasphemy. Basically saying negative things about another person or their religion especially if it is an opinion and cannot be proven, which is common in this section.
