Because we make it so. People are often too insecure in their relationships and so they sit around wondering, overthinking, analyzing every little thing. If people were more secure with themselves they could open up to their other and trust and love them better.

Because People are too picky, and you only want the best one that you can get and people won't settle for just anybody, way too many choosy people

I think that it would not be as desirable if it was easy. Think about anything that you ever really want you fight for if it was easy it would not be worth it.
