If God exists and he created us, and he merely came into existence. Well, then he is an Atheist. And if he created us in his image, then by definition, we all must be Atheists. A Conundrum worth contemplating..

taking a beliefe in God means understanding that all things happen for a reason, even if the event that happens is a bad thing. People dying from war for example to us is a terrible thing, but maybe some good may come of it in the longrun, like making a better future for the next generation of iraqis to have. Im not sure and i understand why u may question it because horrifying things do happen alot in this world.
take in into perspective, like a test almost. Its easy to believe in God when everything is going good in your life, but God will test your faith, beucase a true believer can see through the bad days knowing and beleiving it will get better one day, and if you can do that, then your gunna be fine.
Theres a story in the bible about a guy who had it all, a great family, home and crops. The devil tested him by killing off his family, destroying his home and rotting away the crops, and even took away his own health, but the man stood strong, and said that even though everything in his life basically sucked he would always stick by God and know that there was a reason in Gods devine plan to do this, ultimatly God came to him to help him after "passing" that test.
So yeah theres alot of bad stuff goin on but the whole point of life is to know its not easy, but take it in stride and believe in God everyday, good or bad.. The good days are a gift and the bad are a test to get to another good one, thats how I look at it.
God bless

You cannot know that God is, until you have given your life over to Him. Once you do, and He begins to make noticeable changes in you, you will have proof that God does indeed exist.
Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people has been the #1 question of all time. It is because God does not shield you from the evils of the world, and there are plenty of them. If you ask He will provide a hedge of protection around your life, but you cannot expect Him to do that for someone that does not know Him.
The guys we have over in Iraq are some of the best we have ever had. When one gets hurt, they don't want to go see the medic because they want to stay with their buddies and help in the fight against terrorism.
Some are forced to go to the medic and when they are healed, they demand to get on the front lines of action as quickly as possible, because they don't want to let a fellow soldier or marine fight the battle alone. These men believe in what they are doing, and in the freedom and democracy that they are helping to bring to that country.

I can assure you that God is real... I know for an absolute certainty that God is real... but I can not prove it to you... no one can... I am of The True Christian Faith and I can tell you there is no one of The Faith who can prove God to you... the proof you need can only come from God... you will not find God in The Bible... the Bible dose not prove God... God proves The Bible... YA R&S is not the place to go into all of it.
I would be glad to help with what I can. You may email me your questions and I will reply to the best of my ability... Coming to God is not that complicated... but for some can be very difficult... and emotionaly painful... I can deal with the basics... the rest will be between God and you.... I am 60 and have been of The Faith for 7 yrs... befor I was much the Christian basher and mocker..... this is not the place to get reliable councel on The God stuff... if you are interested in the basics post me an email... one honest question will receive one honest answer.... and no spam... I am too old and do not have the time for that noncense..
as youdo not allow YA email I would need a valid address to reply to

Have you heard of the second coming? Well if you haven't it is were Jesus Christ will someday come back to this earth and take many of us with him.all this misery and sadness is not god punishing us, it is him preparing us for him. Let me be more specific, all this dying and killing that is going on around us, it should make us rejoice,(you probably think i am crazy) the reason we should rejoice is that all these trials and tribulations that have been going on are signs from a loving and caring Heavenly Father, he wants to give us another chance to rely on him and not material things. God gives us things like the book of Mormon, and prayer to communicate with him. I know he is there with every fiber in my body!
God has a purpose for everyone of us, to fulfill that purpose is entirely up to us. Once we have fulfilled our purpose and done the very best can down here, then we are ready to return home to him up in heaven. many people already have.
I hope that what I have said has given you an answer to your question.
Have a wonderful day!
Sincerely,
Cajmormon
( The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is my church, I am mormon)

we don't know entirely for sure. just because people say God is supposed to save doesn't neccesarrily mean he's going to save us from everything all of the time. it's like watching a bunch of kids in a daycare. you can't watch them all 24-7. some are going to get away with stuff and some aren't. yOu shouldn't totally NOT believe in God just because people are dieing in Iraq. that's what happens in war. but you should go with what you feel. if you think he exists then maybe he does, if you don't then it's your choice and no one elses. and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

The answer should be less complicated than you think. First your Iraq question: The humans are given free will, the power to choose what actions to do. If God interfered with humans and their actions, then we would be like puppets. He has emotions, and saddens every time humans kill each other, but his word cannot be changed and He gave us the chance to decide what kind of person to be. What if He really existed? What if there was a real purpose to this mess we call humanity? Would it hurt you to know it? Please try this url:

The cold, harsh truth is that God doesn't help anyone. God lets everything happen. That doesn't mean he isn't there. If somebody got their head cut off in Iraq so be it. God watches it all. No one knows for sure if there is a god true. I just don't believe in devine intervention for sure.

If the presence of God meant only good things would happen, the world would be quite predictable and bland. I believe God is more like a set of batteries that keeps the world running, than a controlling force that determines fates.

ah hah! if you can write the word "GOD" where id it come from and if God wants His people to come home He Will allow them to. You have the ultimate decision to make and follow the "FAITH'. Do really believe something came from nothing? Why aren't things just appearing now? Don't worry about the dying they've entered a better place according His word!

I know for sure that there is no god. The argument from evil is the best evidence. Working in mysterious ways is a nothing statement. You don't need superstition to have a feeling of security or to experience joy, meaning and purpose in your life. There is more wisdom in insecurity than in faith. Good luck.
