Sounds to me like you are the one with the stigma. Tell him so. If you are starting to like him maybe you are at a crossroads in dealing with the teaching of association with people of your own age but I have found that older and younger have equally as much to offer in a relationship. If you let your age hangup dictate your mating style and critique by age you are probably going to hook up with someone that can contribute the same things you do or you can broaden your horizens and open your mind to eliminate the possibility of not finding your life mate or just settle for the product you have limited yourself to. Hope that helped because hang ups are the biggest robber of the things we need and want in life. Ask yourself where the age restriction came from. Did you set it or is it something someone else told you that seemed to make sense at the time?

Well first look at the age difference and see wha the gap is. It may not be as bad as you think. I myself are attracted to older women and have been for as long as I can remember. It can work as long as he is of legal age. I started with the older woman thing when I was 21 and the woman was 31 and it worked pretty good. Now if none of this is enough to convince you to give him a chnce then just come out and tell him that you think the age difference is too much for you to handle. Whatever you tell him be real with him and don't be rude.

Remember age is just a number. It's gotta be a pretty huge differecet to block a good time. Go with a ratio or about 3 to 4. So if he's 18 and you're 24 there's no reason it shouldn't work out.
Not sure where this stigma comes from. If you really have a problem with his age you're just going to have to tell him.

age is just a number unless it is a considerate amount such as a whole generation but you can tell by his maturity and the way that the two of you connect. If you let him down No way is easy if he likes y ou but make sure you are doing it b/c you two do not connect b/c number age is not the right reason to not be together. Unless you like someone else your own age more.

No matter what you do, it'll hurt his feelings. The trick is to do it now, then later. If you wait, then his crush will only deepen. So do him a favor and be honest with him, and just talk to him as soon as you can. Best of luck to you.

Oh just go ahead and give the young'un some "play" and get on with your life. Boys are only interested in one thing. Trust me, if you give him some and tell him that's it, he'll be okay. Just let him "hit it" first.

If he is so young then tell him upfront. If he is a few years younger why not give it a shot
