I got my ears pierced last year when I was 15 (guy). I'm 16 now and they've been pierced for about 8 months. Well, recently I started sleeping with my left earring in my ear, stopped wearing my right earring. What I just found out today is that I had stretched the hole pretty damn wide. My left hole piercing has always been atleast twice the size of my right hole piercing, now it's like 3 times the size.

Although my right ear healed, I've had off and on problems with my left ear. It got infected once and I had to repierce it because it fell out one night while it was still healing. Because it had to be repierced the hole was twice the size it was before. What I want to know is if in its current condition, will it heal?

If you want the opening to heal, take out the earring and clean the area a few times a day with isopropyl alcohol. It will get smaller. If it does not close entirely, see a plastic surgeon about a repair. We usually do these for ladies with earlobe tears, but I have done a few for guys as well.

sounds like your earring is too heavy and without completely healing the other hole you pierced it again. wash the ear with warm soap and water, sterilize the earring with boiling water and then when it cools clean put it back into your cleaned ear. Then clean your ear with Bio-Septic (found at your pharmacy) and a cotton ball do this several times a day. always wear light weight gold earrings. Good luck

Well, make sure you are wearing good quality earrings in the first place. I guess the second part is do you like your giant earholes? Because you can just get higher gauge jewelry and keep them that way.

Yuck sounds strange.that's going to pass back to primary quickly if the hollow is small yet while that's huge then it would take particularly a protracted time . the load of the earring has purely pulled and stretched his ear lobe making the peircing hollow vast.

DON'T WEAR AN EARING IN THE HEALING EAR UNTIL IT'S COMPLETELY HEALED, OTHERWISE THE EXTRA LARGE HOLE WON'TGET BETTER.
